Our commitment
Ugly Dumpling is committed to making uglydumpling.us accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities, and to giving every guest equal access to information about our restaurants, menu, locations and promotions.
Our standard
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as our guide and do our best to meet them. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we keep working to improve the site.
How we work on accessibility
- We test the website regularly with automated accessibility tools.
- We periodically review pages by hand, including navigating with a keyboard.
- We track the issues we find and work to fix them in the website itself.
- We give the team members who update the website guidance on publishing accessible content, such as real text for menus and descriptions for images.
Menus
Our menu is available as text on the menu page, so it can be read with a screen reader, enlarged and reflowed. Printable PDF menus are also available and are designed to be read by assistive technology.
Third-party services
Some services linked from uglydumpling.us, such as online ordering, gift cards, maps and social media, are provided by other companies. We do not control their websites, and they may not meet the same standard. If you have trouble with any of them, please contact us and we will help.
